Doris Naffah, BA is an Artist, Graphic Designer and Illustrator born in Caracas, Venezuela to Lebanese parents. She started painting, developing her personal technique of batik and mixed media on paper, and showing her work in group exhibitions, right after she moved to the Caribbean island, Margarita.
Since 2000, she has lived in Philadelphia, Orlando, and is now based in Seattle.
In 2005, she had her first solo exhibition Memories Alive in Gainesville, FL, and also, participated at the A.R.T. Contest at the University of Florida, in Gainesville where she won the Favorite Piece Award with her piece “Another beautiful day”.
In 2007, Doris won the Diploma of Excellence (Honorable Award), at the Medial 2 Art Biennial, Art Addiction Media Museum, based in London, UK, with her piece
“Coming from the Garden”. Recently, she had her second solo exhibition,
Recent Works, in Seattle, WA.
